Once again, the Orange County Escrow Association and The Escrow Training Institute are partnering to present this special workshop, conducted by Debbi Faber (CSEO, CEI, CBSS, CMHS), who has moderated several C.E.A. Annual Conference break-out sessions on Bulk Sale escrows, as well as last year’s Forum.
The class is being sponsored by First Corporate Solutions, with guest speaker Kacy Flowers. As part of this forum, she will address “An Escrow Professional’s Guide to Article 9 Amendment” and the potential impact on UCC Searches and the filing process.
NOTE: The adoption date for Article 9 will be July, 2013
This class is NOT for the Bulk Sale beginner with no experience. Later classes will serve the Bulk Sale beginner.
With a few exceptions, our open “potpourri” format is geared toward participant’s questions and areas of Bulk Sale interest. We thank those who have previously responded with their requested areas of discussion.
Here are some discussion point examples that you have recommended:
- Creditor Claims
- Cancellations
- Holds on ABC License
- BOE & Other Tax Agency Full Purchase Price Demands
- Successor Liability
- Cash Short Closings
- Dealing with Various Agencies
Do you ever re-record and re-publish your Notice? Why?
What areas would YOU like covered? Submit a request to lobrien.eti@att.net (Larry O’Brien, President, The Escrow Training Institute). We will do everything we can to include those items that we believe will have the biggest group interest.
